During tour 2001 there was the premiere of a co-production of music and fine arts namely "Steel ‘n dance". Emmanuel Gomado created within the scope of this project a dance theatre telling a chapter of African history with rhythms, songs and movements. |

The special feature of this event was that his choreography was corresponding with head-high metal sculptures of a German artist. |

In May 2002 this co-production was awarded within the German competition "Global vernetzt – lokal aktiv" in Berlin by Bundesministerium für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung. Because of that Odehe was invited to perform at the Agendagipfel in Stuttgart in 2002. |
